Barrel-seeking, camera-obsessed pro from Solana Beach, California, best known for his mesmerizing POV tuberiding videos; in 2007 

 magazine declared that "No one—seriously, NO ONE—has filmed inside the tube as well as Brian Conley." 

Conley was born (1980) in Long Beach, began surfing at age five, and moved south with his family three years later to Solana Beach. A product of YMCA surf camps, Conley competed in NSSA events as a teenager, hired longtime California pro Joey Buran as a coach, and eventually competed on the World Qualifying Series circuit. 

By his early twenties however, Conley had grown tired of contests held in poor waves, and elected to hang up his singlet in favor of a career as a hard-charging, long-haired, vegan freesurfer, hunting down big, hollow waves along the Mexican coast in a four-wheel drive surf juggernaut. 

, a stunning compilation of deep tuberides, all shot with helmet-mounted, board-mounted, or hand-held cameras. The film won him the "Breakthrough Filmmaker" award at the 2006

 Magazine Poll awards. Two of Conley's most hair-raising tube shots were nominated for Billabong XXL Ride of the Year Awards in 2009 and in 2010.
