A degenerative surfboard condition, where the board's resin-bonded fiberglass skin pulls apart, or "delaminates," from the underlying foam core. Most delaminations are found on the board's deck, in the areas beneath the surfer's feet—particularly the rear foot—and are caused when an area of fiberglass, repeatedly dented by heels, knees, and toes, finally pops back to more or less its original shap...
