Surfboard shaper from Carlsbad, California; one of the 1970s most in-demand board craftsmen. Eberly was born (1950) in Bend, Oregon, and moved with his family at age two to Torrance Beach, in southwest Los Angeles. He began surfing at nine, and shaping boards at 17.
