Low-profile cofounder of Quiksilver, the world's leading surfwear company, from Torquay, Victoria. Green was born (1947) in Melbourne, began surfing in 1960, and in 1969, along with partner John Law, founded a small wetsuit-making operation in the coastal town of Torquay.
