Israeli-born artist who moved to Hawaii in his early 20s and began to produce oil paintings and knife-carved linoleum-block prints. Some of Kiriaty's pieces are surf-specific, but most are earthy, warm-toned depictions of traditional Polynesian life, in a style reminiscent of Paul Gauguin, filled with brown flesh, azure skies, and rich flora and fauna.
