Surf photographer from Haleiwa, Hawaii, best known for his color-rich, hi-def, locked-inside tube shots mostly taken from the vicious shorebreak waves of Oahu's North Shore. Little was born (1968) in California, the son of a photography teacher father, and the younger brother of Brock Little, future big-wave star. The family moved to the North Shore when Clark he was two. 

Little first made a name for himself in the mid 1990s by surfing Waimea Bay's shorebreak waves, a death-defying act normally reserved for bodyboarders who are marginally safer on their soft foam boards. 

In 2007, while working as a gardener, Little's wifed asked for an ocean picture to hang on their bedroom wall; Little swam out to a nearby beachbreak with a cheap waterproof camera, got a decent tube shot, and fell in love with photography. 

His images of muscular, crystalline barrels breaking in inches of water have since been exhibited in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum, and featured in National Geographic, Life, and the New York Times. Little has opened his own galleries in Southern California and Hawaii, and in 2011 he received the Windland Smith Rice International Award for Oceans Photography.
