Synonym for "longboard"; more specifically, a particularly heavy and cumbersome longboard. In 1987, Surfer magazine ran a short-lived cartoon strip called "Log," by Tom Finley, about an amiable, beer-bellied, middle-aged longboarder. A longboard surfer is sometimes called a "logger."
