Longboard maneuver performed in small waves, in which the surfer gets to his feet and immediately whips the board around into trim position. Usually the rider will add extra torque to the whipturn by paddling at an angle toward the hook, or breaking section of the wave, before veering off into the opposite direction. Similar to a "left-go-right," "right-go-left," or "fade."...
